Happy Independence Day!!

Let Freedom Ring!!

July 4^th, 1776

 

Today we remember the day our Declaration of Independence was signed. The brave men & women who risked everything to acquire freedom from the tyrannical government of Britain. They wished to break free once & for all & did so by taking up arms & fighting for it. Because of their bravery we live in a free nation to this day. 

There’s another kind of freedom that is even more important to us than the freedom spoken of above. It’s freedom from sin. Scripture tells us all have sinned & fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23).  A price was paid for your freedom, & you don’t have to fight for it. You need to surrender to it.

 

2 Corinthians 3:17

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

John 8:36

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

 

Grab ahold of spiritual freedom and no matter what happens this side of heaven know this; You are truly free, because you are free from the sins that had you bound.   

God either causes or allows everything that transpires in this life. No matter what you’re dealing with in your life right now, know that God is not only with you, but he is at the end of it as well. The devil is a defeated foe, and he knows it. Evil loses every time and here’s a reality check,: God wins in the end!!!  Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing.
