“You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because
they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3
In Philippians 4:7, the Apostle Paul writes that we shall
receive from the Lord peace that passes
all understanding. The peace that
God provides is not anything that can be purchased or bartered for. We can simply ask for it and receive it. It comes from having unshakable faith in an
unseen God. It comes from allowing that
faith to blossom into full blown trust.
If we truly trust the Lord in all circumstances than we can ask for
peace in any situation and receive
it.
This
peace cannot be understood with the natural mind for it is a supernatural
event. It comes from remaining fully focused
on the Lord at all times. The word steadfast
means unchanging or unswerving; constant.
Don’t allow any circumstance to unsettle you in your spirit and cause
you to lose your nerve. Stand unchanged
in the face of it and watch God move. He
will not fail you in the heat of the moment and will never turn His back on
you. He is your Heavenly Father and He
loves you. He desires for you to succeed
in all you do, so do that which is pleasing in His sight and you will be a success
in the eyes of all of heaven. Until next
