THE FUTURE IS UNKNOWN

“Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring.” - Proverbs 27:1 New Living Translation
I’m sure you realize that you don’t have any control over your own future. You really don’t have a whole lot of control regarding anything in life, if the truth be known. Yet there are some folks who think they have life all figured out and are in complete control of everything. The Bible calls these folks ‘fools’. Why fools? Because they haven’t accounted for the completely supreme, sovereign will of God.
No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord.” (Proverbs 21:30)  There are many things that we know. It’s called acquired knowledge. But in spite of all our knowledge we have no idea what will take place tomorrow. We don’t even know if we will wake up tomorrow morning. No matter what we may think, there's nothing this side of heaven that can alter or thwart the perfect will of God.
God’s will is corporate AND individual. His corporate will is, in part, that all would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are the conduits he has chosen to use to accomplish that portion of his will. His individual will is diverse, fitted for each believer based on his or her skills and gifts. Don’t bother trying to figure out what the future holds. It cannot be known. Fixate on being more like Christ in each facet of your life.  Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
