THE POWER OF PRAYER

James 5:16

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” - NIV

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” - NLT

“Your prayers are powerful when they are rooted in a righteous life.” THE VOICE

“The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.”THE MESSAGE

“The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].”THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE

Who is righteous among us? If you have been born of the spirit then you are. Sanctification, to set apart, consecrate or make holy, is what God imparts to us when we become redeemed by Christ’s blood. It is both instantaneous and progressive in that God forever more shall see you as both holy and righteous because of his grace and Christ’s cleansing blood. However, you are not literally sanctified, that is a process that takes place until you pass from this world to the world to come.
Since you are righteous in God’s sight, your prayers are powerful and effective. God shall see to it personally. God loves you and will never allow you to fail. When you pray for something for yourself or someone else and it lines up with God’s will for you, you will receive an answer. It will come exactly when God knows the perfect time is and in the exact form it needs to to be most effective. Trust God to answer your prayers. There is great power in the prayers of a righteous man. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
