The will of God is a curious thing. Since God knows us intimately, inside and
out, He knows exactly what will benefit us the most. He knows where our gifts lie, because He
placed them within us when we were formed in our mother’s womb. God knows where
He wants to take us and patiently waits for us to catch up to Him.
Faith is an even more curious
thing; believing in something or someone that you cannot experience with any of
your senses. Believing, trusting,
relying on this unseen power enough to let it influence and mold you into
someone you never thought you could ever be.
God knows the plans He has for
you. Jeremiah 29:11 “For
I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Who else can unequivocally say that and be able to perform it just as He had planned? I dare say no one this side of heaven.
Who else can unequivocally say that and be able to perform it just as He had planned? I dare say no one this side of heaven.
So what is the point of my saying all this? Only this: when you wake up each day, ask the Lord what
He would like you to do for Him and watch His will unfold before you. If you aren’t paying attention you will miss
it, but it’s okay because our retrospective vision is usually pretty good … at
least I know mine is. Go with God today
and know He has a plan for your life and be blessed. rlk
