NO WAVERING!

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
To waver is to be uncertain or indecisive. When we place our faith and trust in Christ we must do so with no uncertainty or indecisiveness in our heart or mind.  Many throughout the ages have confessed their allegiance to God only to turn and walk away when the going got rough.  Christianity is not an easy road to follow.  Having said that I would also say that it’s not nearly as difficult as some would imagine and the blessings that come from serving Christ far outweigh the difficulties.
We are to resolutely and fervently hold onto our faith in the Lord, for the hope we have in Him will be realized in due time. God’s character is spoken of frequently throughout scripture.  One of His main attributes is that He is faithful.  In Paul’s second letter to Timothy, he speaks of the Lord’s faithfulness:  “This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.  If we endure, We shall also reign with Him.  If we deny Him, He also will deny us.  If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”  (2 Timothy 2:11-13)
Don’t kid yourself. There will be days when we feel lost and we are struggling in our faith.  God’s promises are made with no hesitation.  Those who are hungry for God will be touched and used for the kingdom.  We mustn’t waver in our faith.  God never changes one iota.  What was true thousands of years ago would still be true today.  We can rely on the Lord to be our everything and remain faithful to us for our entire lives.  Until Christ’s return, walk with the King and be a blessing!
