OUR AWESOME GOD

“Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!” Romans 11:33 NLT
The riches and wisdom of God are infinite.  His knowledge is partnered with His foreknowledge of things to come.  Our finite minds could never in a million years grasp the decisions made by the Lord.  His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8).  This is the God we serve.  He is so far above His creation in every capacity that it is foolhardy to think we could ever know anything about Him or His plan except what is revealed in His word.
The remaining three verses of this chapter further confirm what we’ve already been told; that no one can know the thoughts of God.  It also says that advice is forever given by Him, but never to Him.  Our Heavenly Father is the one and only true God who was and is and always shall be.  He is the One who has no beginning or end.  By His hand all things have come into existence and are maintained by His mighty power.
What is the point of all this to us? This is the point, that we as believers in God can know afresh and anew that He is matchless in His universe.  The point is that scripture reveals the immenseness of the One we serve.  Nothing can compare to Him.  There is nothing He cannot do. No matter what you are facing this day, no matter how impossible your circumstances seem, you can know without question or hesitation that God knows all about it and is already working out His will for your situation. God will not fail you, nor will He allow you to deal with more than He knows you can handle.  He loves you and will be with you wherever you go.  Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
