Here’s a good rule of thumb for every Christian. Would you say or do what you say or do if Jesus Christ were with you? Would you watch what you watch or go where you go if He were with you? We are human, that’s a fact. We are flawed, that is undeniable. However, that is no excuse for not trying. Failing is just a speed bump. We can do this. We can live a life that is worthy of the Lord.
While perfection is unattainable this side of heaven, that is no reason we shouldn’t attempt to be perfect. Striving for something is much better than sitting back and coasting. God gives us all we will ever need to live a life that honors Him and blesses us and those around us. Take up the challenge. Pick up the gauntlet* and live like Jesus is with you at all times.
