2 Corinthians 5:15 (The Message) “One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.”
Has anyone ever died for you? Me neither. Not until I found out that Jesus Christ did over 2000 years ago. He did it with a specific purpose in mind and it was a twofold purpose: 1) that my sin debt would be paid in full; and 2) that I would have life, true life. We live our lives not even knowing most of the time that our lifestyle flies in the face of everything God is and stands for. Once God reveals Himself to us individually and we accept His gracious GIFT of redemption we truly begin to live. We experience true joy and peace. Our eyes are opened to the reality that God truly is real and alive. We begin to understand that He wants what is best for us all the time. Our hearts and entire being are at rest. It is like taking a big, long, deep sigh and realizing, perhaps for the very first time in our lives, that everything is going to be alright.
Life without Christ can be a vicious grind. I look at people who don’t have God in their lives. You can see it in their eyes, in their faces. They look miserable. All the stress of this world shows in their posture; their body language screams out for relief from their burdens. They try anything to escape it. But they avoid like the plague the one solution to their pain and anguish – God. If we could just be REAL and not overpower them with judgment; if we could just BE JESUS to them. Let’s try to see people the way God sees them. That should be our life’s goal.
WALK WITH THE KING TODAY AND BE A BLESSING!
