When you
have troubles, where do you take them?
Many of us go to our parents, a sibling or a trusted friend. But what if you don’t have the type of relationship
with any of those groups to unload your problems? Did you know that God wants to be our ‘go to
guy’ when it comes to talking out our problems?
He wants to help us and is constantly and continuously available to
assist us under any and all situations.
We can literally cry out to Him and know without a shadow of a doubt
that He not only hears us, but will answer us as well.
There are
times when our troubles are so weighty that we are too embarrassed to tell
anyone. We have made a terrible mistake
which will effect both our life and the life of everyone we love. It happens.
It’s happened to me. We must
understand that even though there are subsequent consequences that we must
endure, the Lord never stops loving us.
We read or hear many stories that tell of loved ones leaving because
they cannot face the disaster that their spouse may have brought on their
family, but God never leaves. He is the
one constant in a sea of inconsistency.
God never fails.
So when troubles knock you to your knees and you think you can’t get up, rely on the Lord. He will lift you up and place you on a rock. You may rely on Him to carry you thru even when you are unable to stand. He will see you thru anything that comes your way. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
