CHRISTIANS NEED NOT FEAR JUDGMENT

“He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity.” (Psalm 98:9)

Righteousness - the quality of being morally right or justifiable (reasonable).
Equity - the quality of being fair and impartial.

I would define a Christian as someone who has a living, breathing, growing personal relationship with Almighty God; someone who has sought and received forgiveness for their sins. Just believing in God doesn’t cut it for scripture tells us that even the devil and his demons believe in God (James 2:19). A day is coming when the unrighteous shall pay for their ungodliness. For those who are awaiting vengeance, it shall come. God alone is righteous. He alone is always fair and reasonable. God is completely impartial. No bribes can be offered for leniency; there will be no getting out of the judgment that is coming. Those who call themselves Christian have nothing to fear. We shall be judged according to what we have done in the name of Christ since our relationship with Him began (Romans 14:10). At the Mercy Seat of Christ is where we shall stand one day. Our salvation is secure and shall not be taken from us; we are secure in the knowledge that we are His. The Christian shall not face the Great White Throne Judgment of God (Revelation 20:11-12). For all those who shun the very thought of any god existing, it shall be a very sad and terrifying day.
Everything God does is right and just. There is a purpose for everything He causes or allows. Our finite minds cannot begin to comprehend the reasoning behind His thoughts or actions. They are too lofty for us to get our minds around. This is why faith is called blind at times and it is for good reason. We cannot see and know all that is transpiring right in front of us in the spirit realm. We must have faith, for the stronger our faith is the more we will trust God. He has never, nor will He ever lie to us, cheat us or leave us alone. He cannot for there is no falseness in Him (John 7:18).
Serving God is not something we should do out of fear or as a requirement. We should serve our God with joy in our hearts, knowing that He is a kind, impartial, merciful, loving deity who desires for us to worship Him and love Him as He loves us. Loving obedience is what He seeks from us. As we grow to know more about His character, the easier it should be to obey His decrees, for they are meant to lead us into a peaceful life filled with fulfillment and joy. If we truly live for God we never have to fear judgment.
