“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” - Romans 8:32
For those who are dead in their sins a gift was given. God gave up His Son to pay the debt we could never pay. It was the greatest gift ever given. Everything else is of less value. Therefore, if He had given us the most precious gift, how could God possibly withhold anything else from us who believe? The key to the question is what we ask for. Desires and wants are two distinctly separate things. God has promised to meet all our needs (Philippians 4:19). Those who have drawn close to God in the form of a personal relationship have seen their desires begin to fall in line with God’s will for them. It’s a growth process that takes time; however, know this: God doesn’t play games with us. He knows all that we need and desire and shall never short change us. It is not He who must line up with us, but rather we who must line up with Him. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
