“Charm
is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be
praised.” Proverbs
31:30
This has to be true,
otherwise why would so many aging celebrities have so many nips & tucks
that they are barely recognizable*. God created us perfectly; yet some folks
desperation to never grow old causes them to use non-aging wrinkle creams,
Botox injections, plastic surgery, etc.
For those who are still young, their desperation is to be sexy in
appearance. Many dress as if they were a streetwalker in Times Square (NYC),
knowing that men are stimulated by sight.
That’s the way many of the young women that work in a warehouse
environment dress. I asked a couple
young women why they got all dressed up to work in a warehouse? Their response was because they want to look
and feel sexy … in a warehouse. Even
some Christian women show more skin then they should. This is not conducive to godly living or
attracting the type of godly man that the Lord deems worthy of you.
This
world places a high premium on the outward appearance of people. Gym rats looking to attain six-pack abs or
tight hind ends prove that as fact daily.
Women use their looks and with some, their guile, to get what they want
in this world. What an empty,
unfulfilling life.
A
woman who lives a life out of reverence and respect for God and His word is a
woman who has an inner beauty, regardless of their outward appearance. Looks
will fade no matter what you do, but the inner beauty of an individual of
either gender, will last for eternity.
This is because our Creator puts it there. By all means, keep good personal hygiene and
keep yourself in good health by eating right and doing some sort of exercise
regimen, but always keep your main focus on the Lord of heaven and earth. Until
Christ’s Return, walk with the King and be a blessing!
