THE NATURE OF GOD

“Who has known the mind of the Lord?  Or who has been his counselor?”[1] “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?”[2] For from him and through him and for him are all things.  To him be the glory forever! Amen.  Romans 11;34-36
In man’s smugness he believes he can outwit God, if he even exists.  His choice is to disbelieve until proven otherwise.  The Bible tells us that man’s smugness is misplaced because his way of thinking & doing things is not at all the way God thinks or does things (Isaiah 55:8). In Proverbs 14:12, it says “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”  A main difference between God and man is that God knows a person’s heart motivation.  Man only knows what he sees, hears, reads, watches or is taught.  God created man with complex intricacy, a feat that could never be duplicated to perfection by vastly inferior man. Man destroys as much as he creates and his creations typically utilize materials also created by God.  Arrogant man feels he is in no need of a deity who can forgive, believing they are not in need of forgiveness in the first place.
Scripture illuminates God’s many wonderful characteristics, in this case shining a light on His all-knowing nature and His ability to counsel us by His Holy Spirit.  It is also a fact that God is indebted to no one.  The Lord owes us no explanations, no blessings, no material possessions and no forgiveness.  It is His undeserved favor toward us that drives His love for us and He has never regretted anything He has ever said or done. It is out of His gracious nature that He, knowing our severe tendency to do wrong, offers each of us a chance to start over.
All things have been created by Him, through Him and for Him.  We cannot fathom the depth of His loving kindness toward us.  The cross stands as a bastion of hope for a new and improved life through Christ.  For all that God has done, He is worthy of our praise.  Instead of seeking to contradict that which is only seen and understood by faith and trust, embrace the one true way of thinking and system of belief that can save you from the eternal damnation due all that reject Christ.  To Him be the glory forever! Amen
Until Christ’s Return, walk with the King today and be a blessing!
[1]  Isaiah 40:13 “Who can fathom the Spirit [or mind] of the Lord or instruct the Lord as his counselor?
[2]  Job 41:11  “Who has a claim against me that I must pay?  Everything under heaven belongs to me.”

* Isaiah 55:8 - "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
