“Be
strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord
your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” - Deuteronomy 31:6
As a believer in Christ we
can know we are safe and protected because verses like the one above tell us
so. If God is real and is to be trusted
at his word, then we can rely on what the Bible says to be true. You don’t have
to believe it, but do you really want to live in fear? Everyone believes in
something and everyone trusts someone. But those trusted individuals only have
limited resources with which to help you. Almighty God has infinite resources.
Its human nature to rely on what our senses tell us is real.
Faith doesn’t fit into the realm of logical thought. But that is what we are
asked to do; trust in the unseen as if we can see it. That is faith in a
nutshell. So if you have a situation that is looming on the horizon or is
already casting a cloud of doubt over you, look to the one who can change your
circumstances with a single word. God loves you more than you can comprehend
and will never abandon you no matter what. Until next time, walk with the King
