You Represent the Lord
This is exactly why we must seek to imitate our Lord because we are God’s ambassadors. We represent Him with our thoughts, words, and actions. Because the world doesn’t understand the things of God or His grace, they will allow every misstep you make to influence their feelings towards Christendom. We will never be perfect this side of heaven, but as we strive to represent Him in the most positive light, we will grow in His grace and knowledge. It is this that shall make an impact on a lost and dying world.
“Look to Jesus. Keep your eyes on him. He is the author and perfecter of your faith.” Therefore, walk in a manner worthy of your calling (Ephesians 4:1). You are no longer living in darkness, but in the light of God’s Son; therefore, walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). You are the light of the world, a city set on a hill (Matthew 5:14). God has called you (2 Peter 1:3). He has chosen you (Revelation 17:14). You are now a saint, a servant, a steward, and a soldier (Romans 1:7; Acts 26:16; 1 Peter 4:10; 2 Timothy 2:3). You are a witness and a worker (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 2:10). Through Jesus you are victorious (1 Corinthians 15:57). You have a glorious future (Romans 8:18). You are a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20). You are an ambassador for Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
This is the final post re: this topic. Until next time, walk with the King & be a blessing.
In His Name & for His Glory,
