LIFE’S SAD REALITY
There is a sad reality
that we all face in due time. That reality is that a joyful spirit tends to get
ground down as you get older. Whether Christian or not, life has a way of
sucking the life out of us over time. It doesn’t have to be that way, but because
we focus of situations instead of our Lord we end up owning whatever problems
come associated with the situation. We must shift our focus off ourselves and
life’s dilemmas and focus on God’s ability to fill us to overflowing so that
the joy can be rekindled in our hearts and spirits. It’s what God desires for
us. We must grasp it as if
it were a golden ring. Once we
have it, we must never let it go for it
represents all that is good and righteous and fair and decent and loving and
kind and joyous in this life. Focus on the good things and not the bad. Wipe
off your frown and wear a smile. We cannot be an edifier or encourager to
others if we are stuck in the mud. Strive for
selflessness. Work seriously at being like Christ in your daily life. You can
change your reality in an instant if you wish to. The choice is yours. Until
next time, walk with the King and be a blessing! [RLKeller ]
