OUR FLAWLESS GOD

“As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” Psalm 18:30
Before every man there lies a wide and pleasant road that seems right but ends in death.”*  Solomon says it two times, once in Proverbs 14:12 and again in Proverbs 16:25.  In comparison, the road of God is perfect. As we follow Him down the road we will encounter potholes and rough stretches of pavement along with obstacles lying in our path.  The Lord has not left us, He has placed them there to strengthen our faith and trust in Him.  If our road was always smooth without any challenges then how would we grow?
Like His path, God’s word is also perfect.  What He says He will do. It’s up to us to either believe or disbelieve that. Belief actually has to come first before we will trust the path He has laid before us. It means every man has a very important choice to make. Once we begin to cultivate our relationship with God we will understand that His promises are for all who have place their trust in Him. Therefore we truly have nothing to fear this side of heaven for He shields all that take refuge in him.
There is but one way to get to heaven, not a multitude of ways, as other religions would have us believe.  Jesus proclaims that He is “the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6).  The road God provides, takes us through the cross on Golgotha’s hill.  God’s perfect word and way leads us down the road He knows we need to travel to get where He desires us to be. He allows certain situations to arise for our ultimate benefit.  Nothing takes Him by surprise.  He is in complete control at all times.  Cling to God’s every word and rely on Him to provide a refuge for you in all your most difficult times.  Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
