David had known his fair share of distress, at times because of his own lack of good judgment. At times like that he fell into the arms of his God. David was keenly aware that only God could save him from calamity and from himself.
In this day and age the same holds true. We find ourselves in all sorts of trouble, at times by our own hand. In times such as these our God is there; ready, willing and able to rescue us from the ‘snare’. We must come to the place in our walk with God that we trust Him without an ounce of hesitation. God has promised to provide for and sustain us in this life until He ushers us into the next. We must rely on Him to lead us and then follow that lead. Giving the Lord a head nod only to go off on our own cannot be an option. We must immerse ourselves in Him through His word. God cares deeply for us and will never fail us. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
