“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” – Ephesians 2:10
When we look around us each day all that our eyes see was created by an unseen spiritual architect. God, as we know Him, has made all that exists and that means us as well. It may be hard to comprehend that every mortal man & woman that has ever existed down through the ages was formed in their mother’s womb by Almighty God. Have you ever considered that someone like Adolf Hitler was created by God? Now God didn’t cause him to turn out the way he did; that was the result of the life choices Hitler made throughout his life, however, his life began just as ours did.
Before time began God prepared good works for us to do to illustrate the change that has been made in us when we received Christ into our hearts and lives. I have often told people through the years that any good thing they see in me is Christ shining through me. I am painfully aware of the fact that I am capable of no good thing of any eternal value on my own. Show the world you are different; let the love of Christ shine through you into a lost and dying world without hope. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
