“… we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” – Ephesians 2:3b-5
Did you know that there is no way to get to heaven but through Christ? Other religions scoff at that, declaring that there are a wide variety of ways for one to get to heaven or even deny the existence of heaven altogether. In like manner they either deny the existence of Christ or deny His gruesome death on a cross for the sins of men. It’s a matter of faith; it always has been. Ephesians 2:8-9 declares that it is by faith that men are saved. We must place our trust in a deity we cannot see, believing that He is real, the Bible is His word & it is true. We are deserving of hell fire; each and every one of us. It is by His undeserved favor, His grace, that we have been given the opportunity to become dead to our sins and alive in Christ.
