THE LORD IS WITH YOU

“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”- Joshua 1:9 NLT
Reflect back on your walk with the Lord. Is there any time when he failed you or has he fulfilled all his promises that apply to your life’s circumstances? Although there were times when you may have felt alone, according to scripture God never leaves or forsakes us. According to scripture he is with us wherever we go. Just because you don’t sense the presence of something or someone doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
Consider this, the Holy Spirit of God, third person of the Trinity, resides within you once you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. Therefore, the reality is that God quite literally IS with you wherever you go. If you don’t know which way to go or what decision to make, fall back on what you know about God and make your decision based on the truth in God’s Word. God is perfect and so is his word. Just because some of the things written in scripture seem irregular or illogical doesn’t mean they aren’t true.
God is looking for those who are willing to accept his existence as real and his word as true. He is looking for those who will follow him regardless of the cost or destination. The Lord is with you and he wants to use you to minister to others regarding the hope that lies within you. He doesn’t need us, but has chosen to use us. He uses the weak to tear down the strong that they might be built up again in the likeness of Christ. There is nothing in this life to be afraid of so be strong and courageous for the Lord is with you always. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
