“And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs
and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.” – Galatians 3:29
What
was God’s promise to Abraham? “I will bless those who bless you and curse those
who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through
you.” (Genesis 12:3) We are blessed as children of Abraham. But we
aren’t Jewish. Ah, but we are. According to Romans 11:11-31 we’ve been grafted
into the vine of God’s chosen ones due to their rejection of Christ as the
coming Messiah.
If
you feel like a nobody … worthless … without a purpose in this life, know this,
if you have had your sins forgiven you are blessed of God and an heir to all
his promises. Because of that association you are seen as both holy and
righteous. It doesn’t matter if you feel that way; feelings can be
deceiving. God’s word says you are, therefore you are. Don’t allow yourself to
become depressed because you feel all alone in a crowded room. God is with you
wherever you go and is within you by virtue of his Holy Spirit. Reality is
never what it seems to be because God is there in the midst of it and what
needs to happen in your life will happen at the precise moment it is
supposed to take place. You are unconditionally forgiven just by asking. Now
how will you allow that to change your life?
Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
