“Fear of man
will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.” Proverbs 29:25
Psalm
118:6 tells us “The LORD is with me; I
will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” The most important element
of our being is our soul. Mortal man can
punish us ruthlessly, but they cannot destroy our soul. If we are a believer
our soul belongs to God. If we are
living for the Lord we shall be kept safe.
The fact is, even if we are faithless, He remains faithful because He
cannot deny Himself (2 Timothy
2:13).
God
will see us through any and all situations if we look to Him and lean on His
ability to guide us. Frankly, even if we
don’t lean on Him, He will do that for we are His children and He loves us in
spite of ourselves. If we give in to our
tendency to go our own way without seeking God, we will be in danger of
becoming ensnared by worry, doubt and fear.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
Set aside your pride and surrender your will over to the all seeing, all
knowing Jehovah God.
Do
you understand what it means to be under the care of a loving God? Do you
comprehend the magnitude of the term unconditional? There is nothing you could ever think, say or
do that would stop Him from loving you. He
loves you exactly the way you are, no exceptions. In the words of The Who (iconic 70’s rock
band), “I call that a bargain, the best I
