While there is
only one way to get to heaven, there are a myriad of ways for it to take place.
Your spiritual transformation can take place anywhere on this earth … it
doesn’t have to be in a church. There doesn’t have to be a clergyman present.
It doesn’t matter what posture you happen to be in when it takes place.
The wonderfully special thing about salvation is that God will meet you
wherever you happen to be. You don’t have to clean up for him, for the only
necessary cleansing takes place within your heart.
Once forgiven by Almighty God, your spiritual maturation is up to you. While the Holy Spirit does the inner surgery, we must allow him to do his work in us. God doesn’t go where he is not wanted and will not do that which you do not want done. We must submit our will in favor of his so that we might become all he knows we can be in his name. This is the path of the Christian. rlkeller
