“As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.” (Ecclesiastes 11:5)
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
In a world where intellect rules and power is sought at any cost, God declares that our greatest wisdom and our most impressive power are no match for Him. He who created the wind and our intricate bodies from nothing in our mother’s womb has a plan to save mankind from themselves. Even those who stay close to God and strive to be like Christ each day cannot fathom all that He has done or will do. Those fixated on the acts of evil men, asking where God is in all the chaos need to adjust their line of sight and focus on the creator of all things, for in doing that they will find no need for answers. Our faith must lead us to trust in and rely on God for our everything, even in the face of calamity. God knows what He’s doing. Until next time … walk with the King and be a blessing!
