“For the
foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is
stronger than human strength.” (1 Corinthians 1:25)
Man, in all his finite wisdom,
thinks he is superior to all in creation. The only way this could even remotely be true
is if there truly were no God. Because
we believe there most certainly IS an unseen deity who created all things then
He must be the standard by which all else is judged.
Surely it is clear that the
creature could never be wiser or stronger than its’ Creator. Therefore, God, in all His glory and majesty,
must be far wisdom than any other wisdom in existence and stronger than the
strongest man. Considering scripture as
our source of information, we find that God is all knowing. This trumps anything man can boast. The intellect of even the wisest among men
pales in comparison to God for wisdom is not intelligence and intelligence is
acquired knowledge. God knows everything
that can be known.
The power of God has been exhibited
in the creation itself. By a sheer force
of will God created all that is in existence.
Man can only create that which is finite and temporal. The very nature of God is eternal.
Whenever you feel lost or without
hope, look to God, the maker of the heavens and the earth, and tap into His
glorious wisdom and strength. Until next
