“Praise be
to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and
the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can
comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” (2
Corinthians 1:3-4)
Did
you know there’s a reason for everything God does? When He comforts us in our troubles it’s so
we can be a comfort to those we encounter in our daily lives. Our faith should drive us to a place where
the lessons we learn become those things we begin to practice. People look for comfort from a variety of
different places. Wouldn’t it be nice to
introduce them to the ultimate comforter; the One who give lasting peace and
fulfillment to ones life?
To do
this we must plug into the Lord constantly and consistently. Each day is a new opportunity to bless
someone. Forget about your own problems;
God has them covered. Focus on that
which will make a difference in someone else’s
life.
Over the past several days we have looked at how God knows all things, sees all things and is with us wherever we go. As we allow this news to trickle down into our core, it will make a profound difference in how we look at our own life and subsequently, our walk with the Lord. God will be there for us whenever we are in need of comfort. He expects us to do no less for others. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
