“The Lord is
in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes
examine them.” (Psalm 11:4)
Surely
David has experienced every type of situation that you and I have or will
encounter at some point in our lives; therefore, he is a good example for us to
follow. On many occasions he is
overcome by fear, yet he always come back to a place of praise. At the end of the day he returns to the
realization that no one is like God in His majesty and power.
There’s nothing God doesn’t
know or isn’t aware of. Nothing catches Him by surprise. He’s in complete control of all things. There’s nothing that escapes His
ever-watching eye. He observes all our
comings and goings. Even in calamity our
God is there. In the midst of the storm
He gives us strength.
The
Southwest Bible Church begins each radio broadcast with the following
statement: “God is still on His throne and prayer changes things.” Our God never takes a vacation; neither does
He slumber. He examines the actions of
every man and determines their heart’s motivation.
For those who are attempting to be more like Christ in their daily walk, it’s a good thing to know that God is as near as your own heartbeat and will never abandon you. Until next time, walk with the King and be a blessing!
