“… thanks be
to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my
dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give
yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in
the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:57-58)
When we
came into God’s family we became ambassadors of Christ. How we conduct our lives from that day
forward is a reflection of that relationship.
If we allow ourselves to draw close to God we will reflect His gracious,
merciful, loving and forgiving nature.
If we don’t, we won’t.
Because
of who God is, we can stand firm in the face of all obstacles and not be
moved. We get run over when we take our
eyes off the Lord and place them on that which is coming toward us. We must
stand firm in our faith for we already have the victory. Nothing can keep us from that which we have
been called. Keep locked onto the
Lord. Let your focus sharpen and your
gaze be fixed. Follow His lead in all
things and do not allow yourself to be drawn off course. Nothing we do in the name of the Lord shall
be done in vain. God uses the common
things of this world to confound the wise.
If you think you have nothing to offer God you’re wrong. He infuses in those who are willing the
boldness and courage to go where He leads and say what He wants said. Nothing can stop God’s kingdom from marching
forward but us. Until next time, walk
with the King and be a blessing
