“Glory in
his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his
face always.” (Psalm 105:3-4)
This
life has many hardships embedded in its fiber.
For those who don’t believe in and place their faith in a living God,
there is no help or hope. But for those
whose allegiance falls squarely on God Almighty, peace and blessing is their
portion.
God doesn’t wish to make life
unbearable for anyone. The enemy of our
soul does that. If we seek His face
daily and look to Him for strength and provision, we shall be taken care
of. God doesn’t indiscriminately dole
out blessing to just anyone. He gives
blessings to those who ‘seek His face always’ and rely on Him alone for their
sustenance.
God is to be praised for He
has never, nor will He ever fail or forsake us.
The timing of events in our life is up to Him. The responses to our prayers are in His
hands. If we reflect on our personal history we shall find many instances where
God was present, working things out for the good. There are no coincidences in
God’s economy. There is only His will. We either seek to follow it or we don’t. The consequences that result are based on the
